LAST SUPPER – NEW LIFE

In this series we look at what Jesus said and did on the night before he died. These chapters contain some of the richest and most confronting teaching on what it means to be a Christian. We end with Jesus on trial before the Jews and Pilate.

The Book of Judges – Heroes (?) of the faith

The Book of Judges covers one of the most troubled periods in Israel’s history. It also contains some its most famous figures – Deborah, Gideon and Samson. We look at God’s extraordinary patience and the way he uses individuals of starkly differing capacity to achieve his purposes. There is great heroism here, but not always where tradition would have it.
