BEDE MEN'S NETWORK

Welcome to the Bede Men’s Network. We live in an age when views on manhood vary greatly. What does it mean to be a man?
BMN has been set up to give men of all ages a chance to explore what God says about masculinity and the roles of men.
Our signature verse, Proverbs 27:17 says this: ‘As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another’. As increasingly busy lives leave us more and more isolated, BMN seeks to give men a chance to meet, rub shoulders with guys of different ages and backgrounds and discuss the things in life that matter most. We currently have men from a broad spectrum involved: school age, university, working, single, married and retired.
You don’t need to be a member of St Bede’s Anglican Church to join BMN. The visitor will find a group of men encountering the same pressures, questions and joys as all men. Our context for facing those pressures, asking those questions and sharing those joys is faith in Jesus Christ. The sharpening effect of BMN lies in our joint desire to follow Christ by listening to his Word and praying for ourselves, each other, our families and community.
