Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,  and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade–kept in heaven for you,  who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.  (1 Peter 1)

 The visitor to St Bede’s will find a diverse, friendly group of people who share an extraordinary hope – the hope expressed so vividly in that passage above. We face the highs and lows of life with faith in Jesus’ forgiveness, wisdom and love. We meet during the week and on Sundays to hear God’s Word, encourage one another and pray for our world, our neighbourhood and those in need.

Our community stretches in age from 5 months to 80 years of age. This diversity is also reflected in our different stages of faith. We have many here who have followed Jesus all their lives, others who are new to the faith and still others who are simply curious. This is a great place to discover more about Jesus because we don’t expect you to have all the answers before you arrive. We encourage questions at St Bede’s because we know God has some great answers.
