Sunday kid’s church
We love having families at St Bede’s.
Your kids are precious to God and always welcome.
Our Sunday Kids’ Club is designed for kids from 2 – 12.
It runs every Sunday morning at 10am during school term time & holidays.
It incorporates a crèche and great activities for the older kids.
The church has a Parents’ Corner for those with babies and infants who prefer to stay with mum and dad. There are plenty of toys and change facilities and comfortable chairs for breastfeeding mums.
We begin the 10am service with the whole family, because we want our kids to feel a part of the whole church community. After the announcements the kids & leaders go over to the hall for games, discussion and creative time. At the end of the service we meet the kids and leaders under the trees outside the hall for morning tea together
The kids club program will run over the school holidays, but kids packs are also available in church for those who wish to stay in the service.
We have 3 aims
- Teach kids about Jesus Christ
- To have fun while we do it!
- To give parents a break and an opportunity to hear the word of God with other adults on Sunday morning
