Welcome to

    St Bede's Drummoyne

We are a diverse, friendly group of people who share an extraordinary hope.

Looking to Jesus, we face the pressures, questions and joys of life with faith in His forgiveness, wisdom and love.

    WHEN DO WE MEET?

We meet at various times and places during the week.

    10am Sunday Morning.
This is a service of praise, prayer and proclamation of God's Word. We sing a mixture of traditional hymns and contemporary songs. We have a crèche and children’s programme and we always gather for morning tea afterwards.
We share in the Lord’s Supper on the 3rd Sunday of each month.

    All ages are welcome.

    6.30pm Sunday Evening
This service is oriented towards youth, but all ages are welcome (and attend!). We meet to pray, hear God's Word and praise Him. The music is contemporary and we gather for supper afterwards.
We share in the Lord’s Supper on the 4th Sunday of each month.

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him,

rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught,

    and overflowing with thankfulness.

      Who was Bede?

The ’Venerable’ Bede was a monk at the Northumbria monastery at Wearmouth, now part of  Sunderland, Great Britain. He is well known as an author and scholar whose best-known work, 'The Ecclesiastical History of the English People' gained him the title 'The father of English history". Bede wrote on many other topics, from music and metrics to Scripture commentaries. He died in 673AD.
